Shiva purana is considered to be one of the most important puranas in which the auspicious aspects of Lord Shiva has been depicted along with ways and rituals to worship Lord Shiva to appease him. This is a recitation of 24000 verses of Shiv Maha Puran Katha in 9 days to get the blessings of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is one of the Gods of Hindu Trinity apart from Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma. He is also known as Mahadev means the Supreme Lord.

It is believed that Lord Shiva can be pleased most easily if a person offers his prayers with full faith and dedication. Hence, recitation of Shiva Maha Purana blesses the worshipper by providing him all round protection from all kinds of negative energies, removing the negative effects of bad karmas and infusing a feeling of positive energy, courage, intelligence, mental peace, health, wealth and happiness. It is believed that if a person worships Lord Shiva as prescribed in the Shiva Maha Puran or even if he recites or gets a recitation of Shiva Maha Puran done on his behalf, then he is blessed by Lord Shiva thereby attaining Moksh after leading a most satisfactory life in this world.


Shiva Maha Puran is one of the most sacred text of Hinduism and relates to a Hindu Tradition that worships Lord Shiva and is known as Shaivism. It is one of the Hinduism's 18 great puranas and revolving around Lord Shiva and his better half Goddess Parvati and it describes the story of Lord Shiva.

Originally, Shiva Puran consisted of 12 Sanhitas (sections) and 1,00,000 Slokas (verses). However, they were reconstructed and summarized by Guru Ved Vyas so that at present, there are 24,000 verses which are included in Six Sanhitas (sections). The name of the 6 sections in Shiv Puran are Janma Sanhita, Vidyeshvara Sanhita, Kailasha Sanhita, Sanatkumar Sanhita, Vayaviya Sanhita and Dharm Sanhita. Each of these sections are divided into chapters (Adhyay) which contains a total of 24,000 slokas (versus)

This Katha Event will perform at Lord Shiva Temple in Haridwar or at your Place if requested

The Duration of this Katha and Path Event is 9 Days.
This Puja will be perform by one priest at first day and 5 priests at last day

Swasti Vachan, Shanti Path, Sankalp, Ganesh Sthapna, Kalash Sthapan, Lord Shiva Sthapan, Navgrah Sthapan, Brahma Sthapan, Agni Sthapan, Invocation of all Gods and Goddesses, Navgrah Mantra Japa (1 mala for each planet), Shiva Maha Puran Recitation followed by Lord Shiva Puja & Homam on the final day with Honey, Ghee, Sugar, Til, Ashtagandh, Sandalwood powder, Navgrah Samidha and then Purnahuti, Aarti, Prasad to Brahmins

Guidelines

All the auspicious proceedings combined with some decorum, turn out to be divine blessings. That’s why, we request our devotees to go through the following guidelines while booking any blissful event with us.Devotees will need to fill the registration form with all the mandatory details while booking any Puja package.

If a devotee doesn’t provide a specific date for the Puja in his/her registration form, then we will affirm a suitable day for Puja according to the divinely Muhurta (auspicious time) decided on the basis on birth details filled by the specific devotee.

After confirming the booking of a Puja Package, the devotee can neither cancel it nor apply for a refund. But he/she can either ask for next available Puja dates, or book any other Puja package as a reimbursement of money.

We are welcomed to join the devotees and their family members to Puja either physically but do not support any live means like through Skype, Zoom, Google Duo, WhatsApp, or other means of video calling & conferencing to join, however we can provide the photos and important video recordings of the puja.

Maximum four persons are allowed to join a Puja ceremony physically.

In order to attend Puja in person, the devotees will have to travel to the respective location on their own expenses.

The Puja ceremonies conducted by us are in any of the holistic temples of Rishikesh or Haridwar on the banks of river Ganges.

If a devotee requests for Puja at his/her respective location, then:

The devotee will be responsible for managing all the travel expenses (departure & return) along with the stay arrangements for priests or Pundits.
Extra 25% of the specified Puja cost will be charged to the devotee.
